What do you do on a snow day? The boys go out and play in it of course, but after the work of the snow was done I came in to do the stuff that Moms do ... I made a loaf a cinnamon bread for their snack (shoveling snow between rising cycles) and some hot chocolate, built a fire to warm their bodies and snow gear, made yet another fresh pot of coffee for my darling husband and then took some time for myself.
When I sat down I realized what a perfect day it was for our family. The boys were playing in the snow on the sledding hill, my darling husband went out snow shoeing with some friends and I was setting before a raging fire, watching the snow fall and knitting. (Yes, I'm learning to knit ... more about that later).
