I'm not really sure where the deer and elk hide when most of our friends visit or my husband's family is in town, but on my Mom's recent trip she saw deer and/or elk almost every time we left the house.
We even saw them while we were out on Black Friday. As I took her to the airport she started feeling guilty about seeing so many when she looked over into a large wildlife park and noticed a herd of over 50 elk.
I like to think that it was God's little gift to her letting her know that her daughter has the privilege of living in one of the most beautiful places where the abundance of God's creation surrounds us every day.
