Beware of Running with Your Eyes Closed

I know this will come as a bit of a surprise to some of you, but it is not safe to run with your eyes closed.  Warn your children now!  I did not realized I needed to tell LoveBug that running with his eyes closed would be a bad idea, but as you can see from the picture below I should have warned him.   Now, in his defense he was playing with his older brother, SugarBear, and they had both been taking turns going through the obstacle course on the air soft court (a.k.a. the tennis court) with their eyes closed.

LoveBug decided that he would run the course (with his eyes closed) and did rather well until he ran into one of the poles that suspends the tennis net.  The pole stopped LoveBug cold, but his tooth kept going.  It popped right out and SugarBear was close enough to actually catch it in mid-air.  The tooth had been wiggly, but wasn't quite ready to come out yet.

What you can't tell in this picture is that LoveBug already lost the two lower teeth earlier this year and he is now sporting that "Oh, so cute" early elementary age grin.
